The  911 addressing office maintains the address system for the county.  They also run the ARCVIEW mapping system used by the County Sheriff and City Police departments thru the 911 system.

The Assessor is responsible for the daily operations of the County Assessor's office.  The major duty is listing and valuation of real and personal property in the county as established by the Arkansas Constitution and the State Personal and Property Tax Code 26-26-717.2

The Circuit Clerk is the clerk of the circuit, domestic relations, and juvenile court and usually acts as the exofficio recorder of the county.  The Circuit Clerks office prepares summons, warrants, orders, judgements, and injuctions authorized by the circuit court for delivery by the county sheriff.  This office also maintains a file of all cases pending in either court, as well as a record of all past court cases and their disposition.  In addition, the circuit clerk keeps a list of all prospective jurors.

The County Clerk is responsible for the daily operations ot the County Clerk Offce, Quorum Court Secretary, Budget Account Figures, and delegating the responsibilitites of the office.  The County Clerk Cheif Deputy is responsible for the daily payment of county invoices, in charge of county probate files, in charge of tax work, Equalization Board Secretary, and assisting with marraige licenses.

The collector is responsible for the daily operations of the Collector's office.  The major duty of this office to to collect personal and property taxes and maintain bank accounts.

The Veterans Affairs Officer assist all veterans with filing claims, status of claims, adjustment to claims, and health enrollment. This office will assist all veterans with any matter relating to the veteran in anyway possible,

 District courts, formerly known as municipal courts before passage of Amendment 80 to the Arkansas Constitution, exercise county-wide jurisdiction over misdemeanor cases, preliminary felony cases, and civil cases in matters of less than $5,000. A small claims division of district court provides a forum in which citizens represent themselves to resolve minor civil matters. The city courts operate in smaller communities where district courts do not exist and exercise city-wide jurisdiction.

The Extension Service offers programs for agriculture, community development, family and consumer sciences and the 4-H Club with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.

Provides various health programs both state and ferderal to all local residents.

The Information Technology department mantains all computer systems within the county as required.  Maintains the main framework of the county network system.

The Nevada County Judge vests broad judicaial and administgrative owers in the position.  The county judge presides over a nine member Quorum Court, which has budgetary and administrative authority over county government operations.  The judge handles such widely varying matters such as hearings for petitions to estalish a private road.  The county judge also appoints members to varying boards and may perfom weddings.  The county judge is also head of civil defense and disaster relief, county welfare and prepares the county budget along with the county clerk and county treasurer.

The county Landfill runs county trash pickups, as well as, maintaing the local landfill and recycling.

The Office of Emergency Management coordinates all resources associated with disasters.

Long respected as the county's top lawman, the sheriff has a range of duties that include criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, operation of the jail, and overseeing the collectors office.

The County Treasurer is the disbursement officer of the county and is responsible for the custody and disbursement of all county funds and school district funds.  The Treasurer, therefore, recieves county property tax collections, county sales tax collections, county turn back funds, grant funds, fees, and fines from other county officials and departments, and revenues from various other sources.  The Treasurer, after receiving this revenue, distributes the money to the various taxing entities and the other units of the county.

After the County Judge approves documentation and files it with the County Clerk's office, the Treasurer prepares and signs checks to pay employees and creditors of the county.

The Treasurer must keep and accurate and detailed account of all receipts and disbursements of the county (ACA 14-15-807).  The Treasurer is required to make a monthly financial report to the Quorum Court on he fiscal condition of the county (ACA 14-20-105).
